Patient Care Advisor
Location: Hull
Salary:£12.71 per hour
Full Time | Temporary
Start date: 3rd August 2026
Working Hours:
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday between 07:00am and 07:00pm (8 hours per day)
Saturdays: 08:00am–01:00pm on a rotational basis
Office-based role only (no hybrid working)

As a Patient Care Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their diagnostic journey, ensuring they receive a professional, efficient, and compassionate service from the first point of contact through to their appointment and results.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a warm and professional patient experience, managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, and supporting the smooth running of diagnostic services.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administration support and managing patient-related data
Handling telephone enquiries and supporting patients with queries relating to Diagnostics services
Booking patient appointments fordiagnostic
services
Processing imaging results and updating internal systems
Supporting image processing and uploading
Managing and processing patient-related calls
Ensuring patient information is recorded accurately and securely

Confident using IT systems and technology
Excellent communicators with strong telephone skills
Experienced in delivering high levels of customer service
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Previous experience within a contact centre, healthcare, administration, or customer service environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
