Our client, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, is an innovative manufacturer based in North Shields, is looking for reliable and motivated Process Operator (s) to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, with full training provided from day one. We welcome applications from people who are keen to learn, committed to working safely, and ready to become part of a supportive production team.
About the Role
As a Process Operator, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day factory operations. You will receive full training to operate machinery safely and efficiently while working closely with colleagues to ensure production runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operating factory machinery safely and in accordance with training and company procedures
Carrying out manual handling tasks, including lifting, as required by the role
Supporting general production and factory operations
Working on your feet for extended periods throughout your shift
Following all health and safety procedures and reporting any concerns promptly
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
About You
This role may suit you if you enjoy practical, hands-on work and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. We encourage applications from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be physically able to carry out the manual handling tasks required
Be available to work 37 hours per week
Be flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern, including early mornings and night shifts
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Be reliable, punctual, and committed to working safely
Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills
What You Can Expect
£13.65 per hour during 12-week training period
£17.95 per hour - early shift
£19.22 per hour - night shift
