Customer Care Advisor

Location: Pontypridd (2 Llys Cadwyn, CF37 4TH)

£23,885 per year!

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and only 1 in 3 Saturdays, with a 1pm finish.

We’re hiring Collections Advisors for one of the UK’s top car finance providers.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team that helps customers manage their accounts and payments.

This is not a typical ‘debt collector’ role. You will be responsible for:

• Building rapport and trust with customers who are struggling to pay their car finance

• Creating personalised and realistic payment plans that suit their circumstances

• Supporting customers to get back on track with their finances

• Following industry regulations and treating customers fairly

• Using your knowledge of different types of finance agreements

• Recording customer information and payments accurately on our systems

You will be the main point of contact for customers who need your help. You will listen to their needs and concerns, empathise with their situation, and offer them the best possible solution. You will aim to resolve issues at the first point of contact, always putting the customer’s interests first. You will find this role rewarding if you enjoy making a positive difference in people’s lives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• At least a year’s experience in the financial services industry

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• A customer-focused attitude with great empathy and listening skills

• The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations

• The initiative to think on your feet and solve problems

• A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
