Job description

​We're looking for Claims Handlers to join Tesco Bank's motor third-party settlement team on a permanent basis.

With a starting salary of £23,500 up to £26,000 depending on experience, you’ll work 36 hours per week between Monday to Friday, with no weekends. There is also hybrid working available meaning you’ll get the best of both office and home working.

Your role will be to convert third parties to use the companies repair and mobility services or agree a total loss settlement. You’ll negotiate effectively with third party stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a 'fair settlement' is achieved for both the third-party claimant and the company.

About the role

  • You’ll manage a portfolio of motor claims as efficiently as possible, providing a high standard of service to our customers.

  • Not only will you have excellent communication skills to help customers, but you'll also develop relationships with colleagues and third-party representatives - insurers, solicitors, credit hire companies, and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Claims experience (or motor insurance/broker experience)
