Temporary Customer Service Advisors – (Gateshead / Hybrid)
We’re recruiting enthusiastic Customer Service Advisors to support a fast-paced, high-profile campaign launching in December. Initially on a 3 month temporary assignment starting early December.
This short-term role is ideal for those who thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment and enjoy delivering excellent service across phone and email channels.
The Role
Location: Gateshead contact centre (hybrid – a few days in the office per month; more frequent during training and early weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Start Date: Training to begin by 8th December
Rate of Pay:£25,238 per annum (based on 37 hours per week)
Office closures: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Handling inbound calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and friendly support
Managing queries efficiently, using multiple systems and dual screens
Ensuring every interaction reflects high standards of professionalism and empathy
Adapting quickly to campaign-specific processes and systems
What We’re Looking For
Proven customer service experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Confidence using IT systems and navigating multiple screens
A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes quickly
