Temporary Customer Service Advisors – (Gateshead / Hybrid)

We’re recruiting enthusiastic Customer Service Advisors to support a fast-paced, high-profile campaign launching in December. Initially on a 3 month temporary assignment starting early December.

This short-term role is ideal for those who thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment and enjoy delivering excellent service across phone and email channels.

The Role

  • Location: Gateshead contact centre (hybrid – a few days in the office per month; more frequent during training and early weeks)

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months

  • Start Date: Training to begin by 8th December

  • Rate of Pay: £25,238 per annum (based on 37 hours per week)

Office closures: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handling inbound calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and friendly support

  • Managing queries efficiently, using multiple systems and dual screens

  • Ensuring every interaction reflects high standards of professionalism and empathy

  • Adapting quickly to campaign-specific processes and systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven customer service experience

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Confidence using IT systems and navigating multiple screens

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes quickly
