Our client is currently undergoing substantial investment in their assets resulting in the creation of the role of Health & Safety Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an IOSH professional with a proven track record of managing health & safety within a large or varied asset portfolio to assume a strategic leadership position within an established team
You will collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that ongoing investments across various sites adhere to evolving health & safety standards and remain a priority throughout the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Influence and support stakeholders while continuously elevating the prominence of health and safety across the entire organisation.
Oversee the development and maintenance of health and safety management systems.
Review and enhance existing policies and processes to promote best practices.
Monitor compliance levels and implementation of health and safety measures.
Collaborate with senior leadership to keep them informed of any pertinent issues.
Foster a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Essential skills & experience:
Chartered member of IOSH (or equivalent)
Experience in providing strategic guidance and devising effective tactical health and safety plans to optimise performance.
Exceptional communication skills
Strong track record of cross-functional management and development.
Ability to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Experience in a large or varied asset portfolio.
