We support thousands of people each year, providing free advice and support helping people to resolve their complaints with their water company in an easy, caring way. What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Executive Head of Business Services, the Head of IT will; manage the day to day provision of IT Services including contract and vendor management, manage the provision of all technology and telephony to end-users including hardware & software, ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data against cyber and data breach and provide project management in respect of projects relating to both IT and wider business activities.

As the Head of IT you will be responsible for all IT infrastructure, supported by an IT Support Technician who will report into you. This is a Head of Department position and therefore you will have responsibility for managing the IT budget and costs associated with the implementation of agreed projects. You will also have regular contact with various stakeholders including board members and the executive team as well as third parties such as our managed service provider to manage ongoing projects.

Who we’re looking for:

Although CCW is a relatively small organisation, it will be important that you are not daunted by such constraints and have an attitude that seeks out effective ways of making things happen. You will have a passion for maintaining and improving the IT infrastructure in a Microsoft environment, with a demonstrable track record. This may have been gained in a wide variety of fields but putting the successful provision of IT at the heart of everything that you do will be the consistent driver.

Salary & Benefits:

A starting salary of £50,924 to £62,305.
