​​With nearly 3,000 employees, Morrison Data Services (MDS) is the largest independent multi-utility metering services company operating in the UK. Business expansion and change at MDS have been significant; as a result, they have needed to scale their resources to match.

The Scope

MDS has a long-standing trusted partnership with greenbean. Having worked together since 2007, the companies know each other very well and have become strategic partners. We have developed bespoke resourcing solutions to support the ambitious growth plans of MDS.

The Solution

We have assisted this rapid business growth at an operational level through three flexible RPO models to support the different business areas. Our solution includes the recruitment and onsite support for a temporary workforce Managed Service, providing MDS with the skills and resource agility necessary in the fast-moving, highly regulated utilities sector.

Managed Service Provision – Data Centre

We manage all temporary recruitment for the MDS Data Centre with numbers fluctuating between 70 and 200 according to business requirements including:

  • Appointment Booker

  • Cell Managers/Team Leader

  • Customer Service Advisors

  • Technical Advisors

  • Data Entry

  • Administrator

Managed Service Provision – Meter Readers

The provision and management of temporary Meter Readers across the UK.

Experienced Hires – Permanent & Contractor

In parallel, we have partnered with MDS in Experienced Hire (contractor & permanent) appointments across HR, Finance, Operations, IT & Change.
